"A King's Domain"
About this painting:
This is the very first oil painting of my career. I transitioned to oil paint in spring of 2015 and began a numbering system catalog for all of my original oil paintings, numbering them in order of completion by hand on the back. This painting is officially NUMBER ONE!
I love experimenting with color. When I began this painting I chose a palette of bright and brilliant colors. I wanted to capture that elegance and beauty a bull moose can display. I tried using the intense warm light shining against the moose to help capture my intent. The result is this very expressive painting of rich color I call "A King's Domain." This would look great with any rustic/cabin decor themed room and would surely be adored by any wildlife lover!

11x14" oil paint on stretched canvas (1.5" thick). Unframed, ready to hang!
This painting comes with a certificate of authenticity which is also documented in a hard copy catalog of original paintings. This catalog is in the possession of myself, the artist.
