"A Never-ending Cycle"

To me the most fascinating part of the Yellowstone ecosystem has always been the abundance of processes and numerous cycles that seem to happen continuously. From the most obvious such as the life-cycle of say a bison, to the more discreet such as the average of almost 5 earthquakes per day, this place has a lot happening.

This painting is a brief window into the cycle of life. The ways in which the Yellowstone ecosystem can demonstrate this cycle is nearly unlimited and seemingly restricted only by the limits of our imagination. I cherish places like these because in the most elegant way they show their raw truths, unfiltered and always at face value. This is why areas like Yellowstone I believe are at the heart of what makes our world's most wild places so special.

Open edition (signature on print is from the original painting)

Printed on high-quality archival grade Crystalline matte canvas by Breathing Color. Crisp detail along with unmatched color depth and contrast shines through its semi gloss finish. This is truly the finest canvas on the market.

Never disappoints

The print is even better in person! Wish I had got my hands on the bigger print size but in any case even the smaller one is as good as it gets and captures all the details perfectly.

So beautiful---just the right gift for my bro

It took a little longer than expected since Chuck was out of the studio, but we wouldn't have these peaceful paintings and his stories if he didn't go places, so it was not a problem. My special needs brother loved his trip with our dad to Yellowstone when he was younger and often shows his photo of the buffalo with me. When I saw this painting, it made me think of him and I knew he'd love it. And he did! Now, if only he could jump into the painting! :-) Wouldn't this make an amazing mural! God's creation is stunning and Chuck is showing us just the way He intended it to be.
