"A Wild Domain"
I wanted this painting to be as much about the atmosphere and environment as it is about the wolf. When you travel deep into the mountains where wolves are more common, what takes my breath away more than anything is the environment. I imagine high up on the side of a steep mountain. A glance up reveals a wolf at eye level in the distance, quite visible yet seemingly impossible to get to given the terrain. In the blink of an eye it can disappear back into the wild domain where they roam.
Specifics:
These are high quality giclée prints, printed on a canvas paper. The prints have a subtle canvas texture to them and have a matte finish which pairs perfectly with the acrylic glass they are framed under.
The sizes specified are the paper dimensions and the overall dimensions of the entire piece will be between 4-7" larger. For example: The 11x14" matted, framed print will have an outer dimension of 18x21".
Please take note that 30x40" framed prints are printed with an art board backing and framed in 2" frames.
