"Madison Migration"
Adjacent to Yellowstone National Park, the Upper Madison flows out through the West Yellowstone Valley. In the winter, this place transitions into what seems like a frozen tundra at times. By the middle of January, the snow begins to accumulate in the park, forcing many of the animals out in search of more suitable wintering grounds.
The early morning hours this time of year can be so cold that the water crystals can be visible in the air. When the sun breaks the horizon, a halo in the form of a sundog illuminates the Eastern sky. The mountains to West become blanketed for a brief moment in a brilliant cast of oranges and pinks. A large herd of bison emerges from the forests and crosses the open sage flats and frozen water after a long trek through the winter night.
Specifics:
These are high quality giclée prints, printed on a canvas paper. The prints have a subtle canvas texture to them and have a matte finish which pairs perfectly with the acrylic glass they are framed under.
The sizes specified are the paper dimensions and the overall dimensions of the entire piece will be between 4-7" larger. For example: The 8x10" matted framed print will have an outer dimension of 14x17".
Please take note that 30x40" framed prints are printed with an art board backing
Matboard width (if selected): 2"
Frame width: 1 1/2"
