"Evening Tundras"
Tundra Swans are such an elegant and beautiful wildlife species. This painting was completed for the North Carolina duck stamp contest in 2015. This was my very last acrylic painting of my career before switching to oil paint. I wanted to bring out the color in this painting by using intense sunlight glowing off of the birds with a dramatic blue sky illuminating the background and backs of the birds. The result is something I think shows the true beauty of these birds. This print would bring the warmth of late springtime evenings into any home in stunning color and detail!
Specifics:
These are high quality giclée prints, printed on a canvas paper. The prints have a subtle canvas texture to them and have a matte finish which pairs perfectly with the acrylic glass they are framed under.
The sizes specified are the paper dimensions and the overall dimensions of the entire piece will be between 4-7" larger. For example: The 8x10" matted, framed print will have an outer dimension of 14x17".
Please take note that 30x40" framed prints are printed with an art board backing and framed in 2" frames.
