"October Nights"
Other than the weather seeming to always be great, fall marks the beginning of gathering. It brings many of us together through harvest season, holidays, and good times. I wanted to capture just that on this full moon some late October night. All sorts of activity fills the farmyard while we're reminded of the love in the forest air. A young buck eagerly trails a doe across the shadows of the foreground as the early signs of rut begin to appear.

16x24" oil/acrylic painting - canvas on board.
