The sound of the fire crackling, the water rolling in gently onto the shore, and wings beating in the air. The smell of campfire and lake water. The warmth of the evening sun and the flames against your back. Is there anything more that needs to be said?
I have so many fond memories of evenings spent at the lake cabin as a kid. The best ones I think were with my Father, Mother, or Grandparents. I couldn't think of a better painting to sum it up than this depiction of a summer night.
