A lone wolf howls into the night sky. A call to the gods maybe, or perhaps just an unexpected answer from lost brothers and sisters. We can learn so much about ourselves by spending time alone in the wilderness. I'm often reminded of the people I have in my life, the ones that I've lost, the good times I've been blessed with, and the experiences that have shaped who I am. Taking the risk to venture into the wilderness by yourself is an experience worth having. You might be traveling by yourself, but you're never alone. As the wolf's howl is answered by the spirits of the wild, we are reminded that our lost loved ones are always with us. Rest in peace.
